honeyp.ai for Asana

Catch fake signups — and track the follow-up in Asana.

What this integration does.

What is honeyp.ai?

honeyp.ai is a signup-abuse detection service. A small snippet and an API call check each new signup against dozens of signals — disposable email, bot and automation tells, networks and devices seen before, velocity — and return a decision your product can act on. It's built so companies can catch the farm, not the fan: stop coordinated abuse without getting in real users' way. Learn more on the honeyp.ai home page and in the docs.

How the Asana integration works

Support tickets → tasks

When a customer opens a support ticket, honeyp.ai creates a task in your chosen Asana project with the summary and a link back.

Signup reviews → tasks

When a signup needs a human look, the review becomes a task so your team can approve or reject it without leaving Asana.

Spike alerts → tasks

Optional: when flagged signups jump in an hour, honeyp.ai opens a task so a spike never goes unnoticed.

Two-way updates

A comment or status change on the Asana task is added back to the ticket or review in honeyp.ai, and the other way around.

How to connect it

From your honeyp.ai dashboard, open Integrations → Connect with Asana and authorise access. You pick the Asana workspace and project the tasks go to; you can change or disconnect it any time. (You'll need a honeyp.ai account — apply for access if you don't have one yet.)

Permissions and data

honeyp.ai asks Asana only for what it needs to create and update the tasks above in the project you choose: it creates tasks, adds comments, and reads task status to keep the two sides in sync. It does not read your other Asana projects. Access tokens are stored encrypted, and you can revoke access from honeyp.ai or from Asana at any time. honeyp.ai never sells data or shares your users' personal data with third parties; see our privacy notice and security page for details.
